By tonight Complete Utilities expect to have completed roadworks up to the phone box. This gives the milk lorry access to the farm which means the road beyond can be closed day and night as Complete Utilities work their way to the eastern end of the village.
With effect from 07:30 tomorrow (Thursday) the road from the phone box to approximately Furlong Cottage (Bob and Julie’s) will be closed day and night. There will be no vehicular access so those residents affected and needing their cars must move them either say on to the common or down the track next to No. 8 The Furlongs.
As Complete Utilities work their way through the village, so houses affected will change.

Please can Furlongs have more details on whether the area needs to be cleared of cars for access for roadworks.
The track down the side of No. 8 only allows cars to park one after another between the two stone walls. So, please drive down the track and park behind the houses.

I think the best thing is to talk to CU as they approach Furlongs.
