Impromptu Carol Proposal 2

Posted on December 18th, by Editor in Church, Community. 1 Comment

Dear Tresham Residents

Thanks to those who have sent messages about this.  Further to the previous post the best day weather-wise  for the Impromptu Carols appears to be tomorrow – Saturday December 19 at 5 pm.

Please find a printable sheet with the words of 5 popular Carols for you to bring with you (or have to hand if you are staying at home).  I will play Christmas music in between the Carols and will “announce” each Carol in turn by playing a snatch of “We wish you a merry Christmas” to warn you that a Carol is coming.  I’ll then play over the first line of the Carol before you start singing as I would in church.

I hope it works!  Please wrap up warm, bring your own refreshment and keep your social distance.  Feel free to give me suggestions or requests as we go along.

Kind regards
David
