Parish.UK Network

The Parish Council would like to draw your attention to the PARISH.UK Network (https://parish.uk) The network has been recently launched to provide a framework on which to display open-source data about parishes across England and Wales. Data includes information about the Parish Council, demographic, electoral results, details on education establishments, a directory of local businesses, recent planning applications, local property data and historical precept amounts.  2021 census data is also accessible via this link.

Proposed Constituency Boundary Changes

Consultation conducted by the Boundary Commission has recently closed.  The proposed changes which will have an impact on our parliamentary constituency can be seen here: www.bcereviews.org.uk  The proposal is that the existing Cotswold constituency is divided into north and south with our parish being part of the South Cotswolds constituency.

Bus Service 84 & 85

    • Stroud District Council Pest Control Service
    • Walking England

Coronation Picnic

The upcoming coronation of King Charles presents an opportunity for another village social event.   Initial thoughts are for a Coronation Picnic at Well Hill garden on the afternoon of Sunday 7th May.  Live music is planned and we’ll need a few volunteers to help with decoration etc..  Please keep the date free and look out for more details.
