New Parish Councillor

Posted on March 17th, by Editor in Community, Parish Council. No Comments

Dear All,

At the March meeting of the Hillesley and Tresham Parish Council I was co-opted as a new councillor, representing Tresham. For the past eight years our councillor has been Richard Graham. We should all recognise Richard’s efforts and thank him for his energy, service and passion towards the Tresham cause during this time. Richard’s shoes are large to fill, but I will do my very best to continue his work. In addition and from the information I have, I know at least six other village residents who have performed this important role over the years, representing the village and making sure that appropriate mind share, actions and financial support come Tresham’s way. This is a simple illustration that we care about our village and want the best for it.

As a parish councillor, I will represent the village at council meetings and represent the council to the village. I will deal with your enquiries and represent your interests. I will champion the Tresham cause and help with quality of village life, both in terms of facilities, maintenance and community.

Feel free to send me a note or call by for a chat with any ideas, observations or concerns. Please also visit the Parish Council website, Hillesley & Tresham Parish Council. After many years in industry and business this is an entirely new experience for me, so I will need all the help I can get.

Best regards
