Dear Everyone,

This is just a reminder about the Carol Service – a very special one as it is David’s 40^th carol service, so it will be extra special! There will be refreshments afterwards.

There has been a suggestion that rather than give cards to people they see frequently, some people might prefer to give some money to charity, and just wish each other a happy Christmas while nibbling mince pies after the service. So we will have a Charity Donation box if you would like to make a donation to charity with Christmas in mind, whether or not you are giving any cards. We will split any charity money between CRISIS (which gives a home and friendship over Christmas time to young single homeless people in big cities, and helps them sort things out for the future, including finding somewhere to live more permanently) and Longfield, our local Cotswold hospice.  This will be separate from the usual service collection.

We look forward to seeing you at the service. If anyone needs any help on the slope and/or the path, please let me know and I will arrange a little assistance.
